The West End of London is where some of the best hotels can be booked. The most famous Mountbatten, St Martin's Lane Hotel, Trafalgar, Hampshire, The Charing Cross Hotel or the Langham can be found in the West End.

Another famous aspect of The West End is the capital's theatre world. The commercial theatres of the West End are amongst the best in the world and easily compare to Broadway's theatres. There are about 40 comedy, classic or musical theatres in London's "Theatreworld" to choose from.

The fine shopping opportunities of the English capital are located around Oxford Street, Regent Street or Bond Street. This is where the fashion and modern must-have items are to be found. Big names like Ralph Lauren, Fenwick, Hamleys, Selfridges, or The Apple Store of West End and Topshop are the brands that come to mind. Alongside these flagships are also small shopping streets - think of Carnaby St. and Seven Dials.

They all are located near St Martin's Courtyard, the Opera Quarter and Covent Garden. However, Polpo, Gaucho and Aqua Kyoto are the places to be if you wish to dine in the Carnaby and Regent Street area.

The Cafe de Paris or Tiger Tiger are the dancers' places of choice for the night. West End bartenders are waiting for you at trendy bars like the Albannach or the Dirty Martini. The city never sleeps.
